Never thought I would be able to get my mean Chihuahua groomed anywhere because he is very territorial and gets aggressive alot! After the 1st appt I surely knew it was over for him to ever go again but was very shocked that summer said he is always welcome!! She just has the touch I guess!! Always number 1 in my eyes!!

Pretty Pooches did an amazing job on Chauncey, our Old English Sheepdog. She was groomed just like I asked and is a clean and happy dog. You can tell they care about each dog and make them feel at home. We will be bringing Chauncey back regularly and are excited we found such a great groomer!

I apologize in advance for the novel, but it’s not often you come across a business that cares so much about its customers, and I think it’s worth highlighting just how much Summer at Pretty Pooches went above and beyond for me and my best friend. After having moved to Macon, I searched for years to find my dog a dog groomer that would cut my little buddies hair and trim his nails. He’s a grumpy old Chiweenie (12 y/o) who’s been paralyzed his whole life. He uses a wheelchair to get around most places, and has never had any issues as a result of his paralysis, but as he grows older he gets more and more sensitive about people touching him. After having been told “we can’t groom him because he can’t stand on his own” I tried taking him to the vet to be groomed. The vet managed to trim the hair on his head and body, but was unable to trim his feet without him getting so stressed they had to stop! I even went as far as to buy clippers and try cutting his hair myself, but I could give him a haircut only a mother could love. I finally gave it another shot and found a groomer who would give him a chance. She wasn’t able to cut his hair, but ended up recommending Summer at Pretty Pooches. THIS WAS A GAME CHANGER! I explained to her the struggle of trying to find a groomer to help my little buddy, and she worked out a plan just for him. We came at the end of the day so there were no other dogs or people around, and she asked about his history and triggers. We talked it over and she took him back for a bath with the help of another young lady on staff. I sat in the lobby worried that I would have to take him home after a few minutes, but the two of them were able to give my boy the best haircut he’s had in years! They talked to him throughout the process, let him hide his face in their arms when he got scared, and figured out exactly what worked for him and didn’t work for him. He looks so handsome! We’ve finally found our groomer, and I would not hesitate to recommend Pretty Pooches to anyone with a dog!

I have struggled to find a groomer who provides a relaxing experience for my Bichon and understands how how to properly maintain their challenging coat. The owner of the salon took the time to listen to how we wanted to style our Buddy and did a beautiful job. He enjoyed his experience so much that he fell asleep while she was grooming him. It was a stress free experience for me and our nervous pup. I highly recommend this place and have found a groomer that my puppy enjoys. I will be back again and again. ❤️

Our very first visit for a grooming with Harper,and she did absolutely so good!!! Summer and her assistant took their time with her, praising her and giving her lovin the entire time. I am glad I chose to bring Harper here for her first grooming experience because these ladies knocked it out of the ballpark!!!
