"Disturbing Experience with Groomobile in St. Petersburg" On November 2, 2023, we entrusted our two Westies to Groomobile in St. Petersburg for their regular grooming appointments. While we had been satisfied customers for over a year, this particular experience was deeply distressing. During the grooming of our youngest Westie, we received an urgent call from the groomer, demanding our immediate presence at the van parked outside. Upon arriving (as captured on our home security cameras), we were horrified to find our dog visibly distressed, bleeding from under his right eye. The groomer acknowledged the severity of the situation, advising us to seek immediate veterinary attention and assuring us they would cover the costs. The groomer stayed in her van while we scrambled for emergency vet care for our dog - she came to our front door twice offering us assistance. We thought she did care in the moment. We promptly transported our dog to Tampa Animal Hospital, where he was diagnosed with severe eye ulcers in both eyes and a laceration under the right eye. Thankfully, he did not lose his eye, but his recovery involved extensive medication, a cone, and follow-up care with Eye Care for Animals in Tampa. Despite the groomer's initial promise, Groomobile has since denied any responsibility for our dog's injuries. Their reimbursement process is so cumbersome and time-consuming that we were forced to file a claim with our pet insurance company. Furthermore, Groomobile's demand that the Emergency vet state the groomer was at fault was unreasonable and unrealistic, as the vet did not witness the injury. This incident was a significant setback for our beloved pet and a deeply concerning breach of trust. We still don’t know how our dog got the laceration and both eyes injured. We strongly advise potential clients to exercise extreme caution when considering Groomobile's services. We urge you to choose a grooming establishment that prioritizes pet safety and demonstrates a genuine commitment to the well-being of their furry customers.

Barb and Mike did a fantastic job and my dog felt very comfortable with them for the entire 2 hrs of grooming. Their price is also very reasonable, in fact, it was $40 less than the previous mobile pet care unit i was using. I will definitely be using them on a regular basis. Fantastic groomer. I’ve used the Mobile Groomer for my almost 16 yo Yorkie, who doesn’t love going to the groomer any longer. He LOVED his pampering. Also, took my Golden in for his spa treatment. Came back looking fantastic and I know he loved the experience. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thank you!

Amazing service, friendly, knowledgeable!! Barb & Mike groomed our sweet little Morkie, Cupcake today. She looks beautiful!! Love having the option to have them come to our home in their Mobile Grooming Van. Cupcake was very calm before, during and after her ‘spa’ day. 🐾 We will definitely request Barb & Mike again!

November was the first time I used Groomobile. They were polite, professional and timely. The groomer was extremely accommodating as well as I had to go to the neighbor’s house to find power. Joon will be groomed again in a couple weeks by Groomobile!
