Grooming by Laurie Alysen

I took my dogs to Laurie’s years ago & she always did such a phenomenal job. She even kept a customers 2 dogs for months while he was waiting for his house to be repaired after Hurricane Michael. Even though it has been over 2 years since I stepped foot in her grooming shop, I think about how incredible & clean it smelled at least once a week. I can’t even find words to explain how fresh & clean the air felt in Laurie’s, despite all of the dogs she groomed daily. Although I no longer need her services, I will always be grateful for her & impressed by the level of care she takes with our pets, as well as with the cleanliness of her business.

My Bailey loves Laurie. I never have to worry when he is with her. She does an amazing job. He has been going to her since he was 4 months old. He is now 7+ months old and he just got his first summer cut! He went from pic. 1 at demo off to pic 2 at pick up!

This groomer is wonderful! She takes time with each dog and doesn't have them all sitting in crates. She takes one customer at a time. Since she is the only one, I always know who will be grooming my dogs. She has a lot of experience and my dogs love her. I never have an issue with their cut.

My dog had a bad experience with a groomer when he was younger (he was injured) so he is very anxious when we leave him with strangers to get groomed. Laurie was very patient and helpful. We've been back three times, and our dog always looks great. She takes time to get to know each dog and she really obviously cares about what she does.

I can’t recommend Laurie enough! My dog has always hated being dropped off at the groomer’s… until I started taking her here. Now, she gets excited and her tail starts wagging once she sees we’re going to see Laurie. My dog’s comfort alone would be enough for me to keep bringing her here, but on too of that Laurie also happens to do a great job. I also like that Laurie is able to schedule you within a reasonable time frame if you’re a first time customer. Other places wanted me to wait two months or more!
