MY Pampered Pet Spa

I've recently started taking my two toy Schnauzers here and appreciate so much the kindness and care they get here from owner Mel. She has been a gem helping my puppy adjust to grooming and working with her in a way that doesn't stress her or create negative experiences..only positive ones. I also started taking my senior who has some special needs there and I have not felt comfortable taking her anywhere in a couple years until I found Mel. I feel like our groomer is a family member because of the service we receive here.

Mel was super. She did an excellent job in a timely manner. There was nothing I would have changed in style, which is a first. Wish I could bring her home to Minnesota!

Mel did a wonderful job on my 4 # Pomchi mix. Very quick turnaround, comparable pricing to other local groomers, clean location, and great communication.

The ABSOLUTE Best person you will ever meet to groom and care for your animals the way you care about them is Mel Young, the owner of MY Pampered Pet Spa. I found Mel about 4 years ago from a chance meeting and she came highly recommended by a neighbor. When I took my dogs to her salon for the first time, I immediately knew I was with the right person and in the right place. Mel is simply amazing. She connects with each animal and has a patience, skill and a kindness that she brings with her to her grooming table that makes her simply wonderful at what she does. I am so excited that she's opened her new spa location on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch but to be honest, I would follow her ANYWHERE!!! Mel makes my animals feel comfortable but she also takes the time and goes the extra step to make me feel comfortable too. She is simply the best person to trust with your fur kids. So, if you need a groomer in the area, I highly recommend you contact Mel or get on her wait list. You will not meet a more caring and kind person to introduce your animals to. I am grateful that I finally found Mel to add to my Florida go-to list. Online reviews mean a lot to me when I am trying to find a service, store or even product to try, so I take these words and my recommendation to heart. Mel is one of the kindest and nicest people I have met here in Lakewood Ranch. If you don't have a dog or a cat to take to her pet spa...well, after you meet her you will wish you did!

Mel Young is extraordinary! She is so patient and caring. She's been able to make grooming appointments a much less scary experience for my rescue pup. I would not take her anywhere other than to Mel! I can't recommend her enough!
