Easily laid out and very easy to find things. Do not trust Petco.com— they will tell you things are out of stock and unavailable for online ordering for in-store pickup, therefore preventing you from using your coupons. Store itself is nice!
Isabel is the sweetest, kindest and most professional groomer. My two very large dogs who are typically very nervous with groomers, just love her! The dogs looked beautiful and smelled wonderful!!! I am so impressed with the nail trim and shiny coats! Scheduling is easy, drop off is a snap and before you know it, you're taking home a happy and very clean dog! By far the best grooming experience I've had as a dog owner for so many years. Petco on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach is extremely clean and well stocked. Every person who works at this location is very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend groomer Isabel and Petco!
I needed help finding a cream for my dogs irritated nose. The guy that assisted me knew exactly where it was. Great customer service!
We went to buy a reptile today. The sales person acted like I was a monster for even asking the question. She gave me a terse response telling me they DO NOT sell reptiles when it is this cold out because "THEY WILL DIE." Ummmm, ok. Not sure how the little guy got to your store or how stores in Maine and upstate New York operate. This sales person was snarly as they come. A little common sense would say - I can see you're heart is set on him, maybe you could come back with an insulated cooler or do you have a heavy blanket in the car you could put around the box? But no, this angry lady decided I wasn't worthy of a kind or gracious response today. Just an indigent tone that implied "get out of my store with your stupidity." Thanks, ma'am. It would be my pleasure. My advice - POST A NOTICE OF YOUR POLICY ON THE TANKS IF IT'S THAT IMPORTANT!! AND maybe, just a thought, post a notice on the nation-wide Petco website so maybe people don't drive all the way to your store to find out that Petco has a policy where you have items for sale that you don't actually want to sell. Also, consider being nice to your customers. Maybe say instead, "I'm so sorry. We have a policy about cold weather. I apologize. I know it's inconvenient. I hope you understand. It's mainly to keep the animals safe. I hope you'll consider coming back. I think it might be warm enough on Monday. I'm sure this little guy would love to go home with you and be part of your family." That's a mighty stark contrast to "NO! WE DON'T SELL REPTILES WHEN IT'S COLD!" (with a deep scowl on your face indicating I've done something terribly wrong).
My daughter and I visited the Rehoboth PetCo location yesterday to find her a furry friend. During our trip, we were assisted by Cherise who was extremely helpful and provided a lot of great information for our new family member. The front area staff was also great during our check out. We left the store feeling very prepared and excited.
