Dogfather Grooming

Ev is absolutely amazing. Bailey is 11 years old and for the last year we have been blessed to have Ev has her groomer. Bailey has never looked better. You can tell how much Ev loves her job and is so full of life and is so caring and gentle with Bailey. Ev told me Bailey actually falls asleep as she scissors her face!! During her grooming yesterday Ev suggested Bailey have her nails painted for the holidays just for fun with a doggie non-toxic water soluble nail polish!! Love it!! She looks amazing!! Ev also handed me an ornament for the holidays with Bailey's paw print and nose print!! Such a thoughtful gift which we will treasure forever!! Thank you so much Ev!!

I can’t say enough good things about Kris with The Dogfather mobile grooming service. He has been amazing with our doggies. One of our dogs has always had a very difficult time with groomings and has needed medication and would still give the previous groomers a hard time, but not with Kris! He takes the time necessary with her to no longer need any medication and both our doggies always come out looking great! We hope he will continue grooming our dogs for a long time!

I was not happy with the quality of grooming with this company. I used to be a dog groomer so I understand the amount of time and work it takes to clean my type of dog. Paid $200 per dog (normally about $80-$120 at non mobile groomers) and could not even get basic cleaning properly — there’s still quite a bit of poop on my dog’s butt and the ears were not cleaned thoroughly as evidenced by the cotton balls I put in my dog’s ear that still had significant dirt. I understand if they could not get her a fancy cut but at this price I expect my dog’s to at least be clean. My white dog also came out still damp. She said each dog was going to take 2 hours, but both of them came out in 1 hour. The extra cost is for the mobile services, and I assumed the length of time it would take to do the grooming. She should have at least run the drier for longer to get her all dried up if she expected the job to be 2 hours but she basically didn’t even finish her job. I even pre-brushed my dogs so there was hardly any matting at all (because she was threatening to shave her fur for the matting that I knew could be gotten easily with just some brushing) yet she charged me an extra $20 for matting “she found”. They can get the 1 star because the groomer was nice and friendly - only consolation to the encounter.

Before Christmas I made an appt and was reassured I would have an experienced groomer. They scheduled our two dogs in for after New Year and said if I didn't mind waiting they had a groomer who had worked with them over eight years. The groomer they sent said she started working for Dogfather a "a few months back". I supplied the groomer with elastics and bows for the girls hair the groomer said she had run out of supplies. $300 including tip for both dogs. I had to trim down the uneven cuts on both dogs faces and body. They are two 8 lb very docile dogs . One is 7 yrs the other 2. At dusk i looked through my window and could see my dog chained on the table, alone, panting and hyperventilating for many minutes at a time. I felt like she wanted it to look like it took longer than it actually did. My dog had severe anxiety through the night. Though the groomer was pleasant I paid for a certain service. I will not use them again

Will never trust anyone else with my pup! He has severe separation anxiety and Ally makes every groom easy peasy! He absolutely loves her and he always looks amazing after!
