Dog Tales

We have taken our goldendoodle to Dog Tales twice, and it's safe to say we will be long-time clients. Mike and Louise are kind and considerate. Mike took time to get to know us and our grooming preferences. They have no issues working with our dog who's scared of the dryer! Our dog comes home looking, feeling and smelling like a million bucks! At every visit we got a "report card" which summarized what was done and any areas of concern. She also comes home with a bandana and ear bows! All this at an incredibly competitive price. Thanks Dog Tales! Can't wait to come back!

First time visit for us. Easy to find, Accessible parking, Friendly Staff I have been utilizing a commercial groomer because our previous groomer moved out-of state. The best groomer on the list there became inaccessible, 2-3 month wait. When we walked in it became immediately apparent that it was all about dogs, here. ✅️ We were received by friendly clients and staff. ✅️ I felt very comfortable when I left my pooch for her groom. ✅️ Ok, now is where it gets interesting: Timely text to tell me she was ready to pickup ✅️✅️ Follow up text with an adorable picture of my groomed pup. ✅️✅️✅️ A whole report card, which outlined things like her behavior and the summary of what was done. ✅️✅️✅️✅️. Dirty place , should’ve walked out just by the look of the owners, and how they presented themselves. It would save me a $70 for a chopped haircut for my dog. DON’T GO HERE. So many dogs next to each other surprised mine didn’t get sick

We just moved to Portland I was looking for a groomer. I am so happy with Dog Tales. My dog, Rex, has issues with his skin and allergies. Mike used a product on my dog just to see if it would help without even charging me! He was genuinely concerned for my dog and the condition of his skin. He was very pleasurable when he greeted me outside and Rex's coat is so shiny and soft! I would recommend Dog Tales to anyone in need of a groomer! Thank you so much for the awesome experience!

Dog tales was introduced to me by a client who also has a doodle, she told me the owners also were doodle owners. I was beside myself to find someone close to home, who was so talented and professional. The owners are a couple and they do such an amazing job, doodles are very hard to groom and penny comes out looking like a princess! She smells amazing feels incredible and the bandana and matching ear bows are just adorable to top it off! And they are very reasonably priced! I couldn’t be happier!
