For reference, the first photo is how my Aussie is typically trimmed. I was absolutely mortified after picking him up from Golden Paw after he was there for 4 hours, which is an obscene amount of time, only to see the butcher job they did on my Australian Shepherd. With specific instructions not to shave him, and just de-shed and trim it looked like a kindergarten took scissors to his entire body. Not to mention Australian shepherds can’t be shaved because of their double coat. In my 20 plus years of owning dogs I have never seen such a horrible job. Horrible experience.

Went for a de-shed and bath for my Aussie. They did an amazing job, got her in same day as I called. And even trimmed up her paws. Came back happy and feeling / looking great. Definitely happy!

I've been taking my dog here for his nail trimming every couple of months for about a year now. They do an excellent job. They're quick, the price is super reasonable, and they treat my dog really well. Being open on Saturdays is also really convenient. Sometimes the nails aren't as short as I'd like, but it's better than going too far and hurting my dog. In short, I have no reason to take my dog anywhere else, The Golden Paw is excellent.

They got Lucy in the next day. She doesn’t enjoy the stressful environment, so I appreciate the quick check-in, groom, check check-out service. Lucy was soft and tail-waggy when we left. Thank you. And she loved her bone!

The original appointment was fine, my 2 year old cat needed his nails trimmed, but shortly after, my cat started getting scabs and losing patches of hair on his body. I took him into the vet where he was tested for ringworm and it came back positive. He is an indoor cat and the only pet at home. He hadn't come into contact with any other animals before his nail trimming appointment. It seems there aren't preventative measures being taken to properly sanitize the grooming area.
