Took Mia my Chihuahua for the first time there and she not only looked good but smelt good too ;) I will be taking her there permanently ;)

They always do such a great job with my pets; and they even groom cats which is a rare thing. I never have to worry about my babies there, and the quality of their services is top notch. Best of all, their prices are way reasonable, especially when you consider that in the bay area, the cost is nearly 4 times as much. I've talked to others that bring their pets up here from the bay area when they come to visit family.

I have read all of the negative reviews, and honestly I think they are all isolated incidents. We have been bringing our two husky-wolves to be groomed there for years. Both dogs are rescues, and are very skittish around people they haven't been around multiple times. Even if the dogs forget that they know the groomers, the groomers do a great job of building a bond right when the dog comes in. Both dogs leave so happy and give thank you licks to the groomers. If you knew our dogs you'd be really impressed too. *to the groomers - Thanks so much for being stellar! I look forward to our next field trip to your shop!

I really wanted to like this place and support a small town business owner. The place charged $40 (and extra $1 for debit vs cash they did not reveal before the grooming...shady much??) for a terrible chop job that butchered the hair on my small, 10lb dog's face. There were jagged edges, random long pieces, and it looked like they half-shaved what would be one of the dog's eyebrows (not sure how they managed that but they did lol). Not smooth like commonly expected, and nothing like what's depicted in their advertised photo on here. My poor pup's hair cut was in worse shape leaving than when I dropped him off. Please don't allow this place to do anything aside from a nail trim/grind. That was the one thing they did ok (for an additional $5 on top of other grooming charges). I should have listened to my gut because there were plenty of warning signs indicating this place wasn't going to be able to provide a nice grooming job. Extreme condensation on the main glass entry door, loud/yelling kids behind a 3/4 temp wall, and a very off-putting smell (mold maybe). It doesn't present itself as a safe environment if your dog is even slightly skittish...or for any pet to be frank. I can tell you my pup looked mildly traumatized and very ready to get-the-heck-out-of-there. Sadly, a very unpleasant experience all around.

I brought my two dogs in to get their nails trimmed. My male is very sensitive and afraid of his paws getting touched. I informed the lady of this and said that he is fine when he is on the table with his head in the loop. She refused to do so because she had already cleaned it for there closing. She had the guy pin my dog to the floor as she trimmed his back nails. He was shaking and growling. I stopped her and told her again to put him on the table. She ignored what I asked and continued to his front paws. She clipped a nail too short and caused it to bleed. He immediately showed his teeth and swung his head around. She finally stop and refused to continue with him. She charged me full price for only half his nails done and one bleeding one. Had she not been lazy and disrespectful in the first place, the situation could have been avoided. I told her several times to stop and move him. She was careless, disrespectful and reckless. If you can't respect an animal and their boundaries, you shouldn't be working with them. The situation could have been so much worse because of her carelessness. I had been in there before a few times with my grandmas dogs, she never smiles, is always rude, acts like we are an annoyance and doesn't do a good job to begin with. The guy that works there is great. He trimmed all our dogs nails at once when she wasn't working. Not a problem. He is wonderful! I will never let her touch my animals again. I strongly recommend you not taking your animals to her. Make sure it's the guy!!!!
