Pet Supplies Plus Auburn

UPDATE 8/13: Added 2 more stars back because of the wonderful experience I had this evening using the self-wash stations with my doodle pup. The person working up front was incredibly helpful and ended up purchasing washes in advance because the savings are great for the quality of the self-wash station. Each station is disinfected between doggos and include shampoo, conditioner, flea control if you want it, plus a hose that the products come through and provide a solid rinse between treatments. The high velocity dryers worked well, I plan to bring my own nozzle next time to cut down dry time as we had to finish up at home. I highly recommend it and will be returning for many more maintenance baths to come! Visited Pet Supplies Plus since its opening for the first time, and the only redeeming star that doesn’t make my visit a 1-star experience was the cleanliness of the store and the employee who greeted me kindly and politely as I was looking at the food options in the aisle. Once I got to the register, the first thing the employees there asked me was if I had a phone number registered, no greeting whatsoever. I’ve registered online before but neither phone numbers weren’t showing up in their system, so the employee coldly asked for my contact information without telling me what I may have been signing up for, scanned my items, then as I was paying for my purchase, she asked me to scan a QR code and give them a 5-star review - for what, I’m not sure, as the experience of the interaction paying for my items at checkout was colder than if I had been at a self-checkout running up the items myself. This was vastly different than the treatment they gave the person ahead of me in line who had a pup and they were offering treats to - a great training opportunity for those interacting with customers since this wasn’t the best first impression I had of the store. Super clean and well stocked shelves with plenty of high quality dog food options; I’m curious to try the dog wash stations but not if I have to encounter the lack of customer service from employees in future visits.

We love Pet Supplies Plus!! My dogs love when I come home with bully braids and crunchers which are even safe to eat for my special diet dog who is sensitive to so many foods! We also like how they stock Fromm’s dog food and have a great selection of flavors.

I had a wonderful experience at Pet Supplies Plus, thanks to Rose! From the moment I entered the store, she greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly hello, which immediately made me feel welcome. She took the time to ask if I needed assistance and was genuinely attentive throughout my visit. Rose’s positive attitude and helpfulness really stood out and made my shopping trip so much more enjoyable. Great customer service like hers is hard to come by—I’ll definitely be coming back!

We’ve been to Pet Supplies Plus several times now for different services and products, and we have been impressed each time. The store itself is organized, neat, and clean. Prices are better than the other big pet stores in town. We especially love the self service bath tubs, which has made bathing our 85 pound dog MUCH easier than doing it at home. Audrey did a wonderful job grooming our dog’s nails, and she was patient and kind with him. The staff are all friendly and welcoming! Always a good experience at this store. Today they had some kind of pet adoption event so there were tons of cute dogs and puppies on-site. My dog loves to go for walks with 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter of a big football game, so I always have to make sure I have treats on hand to keep him occupied during those critical moments, and this store has a ton of good options.
