One star 👎 they used to be such a good place but have recently fallen off badly. The employees are unhappy and rude during dropoff/pickup and no longer act kind and caring towards the dogs and it’s very unorganized! Huge red flags here. I do not recommend.

We had high hopes for Grove Bark Inn; however, when we collected our dogs after boarding for two nights they were not only wet and smelling of urine, but we were charged an additional holiday fee after confirming the total cost multiple times before dropping them off. Owners beware!

This place is amazing! There is so much for your fur babies to do. The cleanliness is unbelievable as for the staff is great as well! Great environment and atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone needing to get away on vacation or just for day camp one day! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

For the most part, we really liked Grove Bark. Our babies seemed to be taken well care of, I really appreciate the ability to watch them on the camera, the price point is decent, and it's really helpful that they board dogs who won't pass a temperament test. The only hangup I had is their reservation and drop-off system. We made a reservation for our two labs for a Villa style room. I requested this room specifically because I knew one of my labs wouldn't pass the personality test, and the Villas have a small dog run so they are still able to go outside. It's also bigger for the two dogs rooming together. Apparently, reserving a type of room isn't guaranteed? Because they ended up in a smaller Bungalow with no outside area. After seeing them on the camera, I called to see what was going on and was told the Villas were full. What's the point of the reservation? It was a lot of back and forth and phone calls about having to request daycamp or requesting solo play if no daycamp is possible due to failing personality tests. All this made the first two days of my vacation stressful, worried about my babies being stuck inside. I just felt like a lot of this should have been communicated at drop off. I had to request camera access instructions and then all the phone calls. My only suggestion would be to go over all of the details of the stay and optional services/requests at drop off rather than just taking the dogs and go like we experienced.

We love Grove Bark inn. They take great care of our babies and are kind to crazy dog parents like us. It’s stressful being away from your babies. GBI is very responsive and communicative if there are any issues while we are away. We have two dogs on daily meds and they make sure it’s done. They also have cameras so we don’t feel so far away.
